Nikolaus Giesbert, a former long-serving Executive Board Member of Commerzbank AG, possesses extensive national and international experience in capital markets, strategy, management, and governance. His responsibilities included key management functions and oversight of regulatory governance and risk areas in major business units, such as Relationship Management, Transaction Banking, and Capital Markets.
Previously, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, most recently Head of the EMEA European Financial Institutions Group. He also brings many years of experience serving on committees and supervisory boards, including as a member of the Supervisory Board of EUREX Clearing AG and as Chairman of the National SWIFT Group. He is currently the Managing Partner of GI-Invest GmbH.
