Philipp Doppelhammer joins FinPlanet as Director, bringing more than a decade of C-level experience in banking and regulated digital asset infrastructure.
Philipp Doppelhammer is joining FinPlanet as Director. He brings more than a decade of C-level experience in banking and financial services, with a clear focus on regulated financial infrastructure and digital assets.
As co-founder and CFO of Tradevest Group, he played a key role in building a BaFin-regulated infrastructure provider covering securities brokerage, custody and digital assets. This included dual licensing under WpIG and MiCAR, crypto custody and crypto securities register management. Before that, he served as COO of Bankhaus von der Heydt, where he drove its transformation into a crypto and blockchain bank, including the renewal of its core banking system, and as Managing Director of von der Heydt Invest SA in Luxembourg.
Over the course of his career, Philipp has led and built a wide range of regulated entities, from a CRR credit institution and a fund management company to a securitisation platform, an investment firm and a crypto custodian. He combines this with hands-on experience in developing banking software, from banking APIs and tax engines to digital securitisation and customer onboarding solutions.
At FinPlanet, Philipp will support financial institutions in building, licensing and scaling regulated digital asset businesses, turning strategy into robust, compliant and commercially viable operating models.
